HistoriaCavan Wrestling Club sets its base at Leisure Complex, IAWA‑affiliated and open to all ages
Cavan Wrestling Club has its mats down at Cavan Swimming Pool & Leisure Complex in Drumalee, offering Olympic‑style wrestling in the county town. [1][2]The club is listed with Wrestling Ireland (Irish Amateur Wrestling Association), confirming its affiliation and pathway through sanctioned coaching and competition. [1]Regular junior and adult sessions are advertised on the club’s Facebook page, where training updates and contact details are posted for families and newcomers. [2][3]There’s a strong regional link‑up too, with Cavan wrestlers featuring in sessions alongside neighbours at Erne Wrestling Club, reflecting a shared mat culture across the border counties. [4]Interested wrestlers can check the IAWA club listing or the Facebook page to get in touch and join the next session. [1][2]
