HistoriaRegional Martial Arts Developments Surrounding 신흥태권도
Recent developments in South Korean martial arts may influence 신흥태권도, located in Dong‑gu, Daejeon. In December 2025, the Korean Society of Martial Arts held an academic conference at Taekwondowon exploring artificial intelligence’s role in taekwondo, where topics such as “Adding artificial intelligence to taekwondo” and virtual taekwondo were presented, and a new president was elected to lead initiatives into 2026 (biz.chosun.com). Additionally, the Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation, headquartered in Kwangmyeong‑si, South Korea, marked its second anniversary in May 2025, emphasizing preservation of classical techniques and ethical teachings of taekwondo (en.wikipedia.org). These nationwide trends in technological integration and traditional preservation may offer context and future opportunity for 신흥태권도 in its regional martial arts community.
