HistoriaMaui Country Club Details Highlighted Amid Regional Golf Developments
Maui Country Club, located in Paia on Maui’s North Shore, continues to offer a historic nine‑hole, par‑36 layout that stretches approximately 3,217 yards and features Bermuda fairways with Seashore Paspalum greens (goprivategolf.com). The private, member‑owned club provides a range of amenities including six USTA‑certified tennis courts, two pickleball courts, a swimming pool, fitness center, on‑site dining and direct access to nearby beach facilities (goprivategolf.com).In broader regional context, the PGA Tour was forced to cancel its traditional season‑opening tournament, The Sentry at Kapalua, due to significant drought and water conservation concerns affecting western Maui (golfmonthly.com). While not directly involving Maui Country Club, the cancellation underlines the growing importance of sustainable water management across golf venues on the island.
