HistoriaNewburgh Post 44 Shines in Junior Legion Regional Play
Greetings, Post 44 fans! We’re thrilled to report that Newburgh Post 44 delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 Indiana American Legion Junior State Tournament, hosted right here at Charles H. Braun Stadium. The team triumphed in regional action, defeating Valparaiso Post 94 twice—in a 10‑4 victory and later 12‑1—showing resilience and heart throughout the competition. (albdistrict2mi.blogspot.com) Though our journey ended in a closely contested state championship—losing to Plymouth Post 27 by a narrow 11‑8 margin—our players demonstrated incredible grit and teamwork. (albdistrict2mi.blogspot.com) Let’s celebrate Post 44’s regional success and the bright future that lies ahead for our ballers as they continue to honor Post 44’s proud legacy.
