HistoriaJunior & Cadet Fencing Highlights While OCIFC Expands Its Outreach
Orange County International Fencers Club continues to reinforce its mission of expanding access to fencing in southern California through community outreach and educational programming (ocifencersclub.org). Amid this, Team USA’s contingent at the 2026 Junior & Cadet Fencing World Championships in Rio de Janeiro delivered notable successes, including back‑to‑back Cadet and Junior women's foil titles by Jaelyn Liu and a first‑ever world team title in Junior Men’s Saber (en.wikipedia.org). While no tournament participation by the club has been publicly reported, the event’s outcomes reflect the competitive landscape into which Orange County International Fencers Club continues to introduce new athletes.
