HistoriaPilot Mound Hosts Manitoba Women’s Curling Championship
Pilot Mound Curling Club played host to CurlManitoba’s 2025 RME Women of the Rings provincial championship at the Millennium Recreation Complex from January 22 to 26. The event featured 12 teams in two pools, with top seeds such as Kate Cameron’s rink securing dominant victories on opening day, including a 9‑5 win over Cheyenne Ehnes and a 9‑2 win over Sarah‑Jane Sass (en.wikipedia.org). The venue, sustained by extensive local volunteer support, facilitated a professional curling environment in Manitoba’s smallest host community (winnipegfreepress.com).
