HistoriaTarkhan’s Farm Club Cessation Marks Major Shift in Sterlitamak Volleyball
The Sterlitamak volleyball club Tarkhan has officially ceased operations as of July 26, 2025, after the dissolution of its organizational structure. The club had functioned as a farm team for Ufa's Dynamo‑Ural, receiving funding and developmental support, but its closure was announced following decisions by donors citing insufficient return on investment in terms of player development (championat.ru). Tarkhan’s operations came to a halt despite earlier competitive efforts, including notable performances in Russia's Higher League A during the 2024‑25 season, such as a milestone victory over Yugra‑Samotlor (ufa.aif.ru).
