HistoriaLongwood Golf Club reopens in Cypress with refreshed course and a full-service Teaching Center
The Golf Club at Longwood is back on the tee in Cypress. The course at 13300 Longwood Trace reopened to golfers after a renovation in mid-December 2023, and tee times are live through the club’s portal and national booking partners [1][2][3][5].Longwood continues to serve the neighborhood with the core setup fans expect: the course, practice facilities and clubhouse spaces for events at its Cypress home base [2]. The club is also active across national directories and booking platforms, underscoring its full return to play [4][6].On site, the Teaching Center offers private instruction for all ages, junior development including PGA Jr. League, and tailored coaching for beginners through advanced players. Fittings use TrackMan and V1 Sports with fitting carts from Titleist, Ping, Callaway and Srixon, and an in-house club-repair service is available. The instructor roster features Brian Smith (PGA, Sr. Instructor), John Krause (Lead PGA Instructor) and Kelly Fitch [7].
