HistoriaBalkan Endurance Riding Championship Highlights Regional Equestrian Scene
The club VK Gusar Sv. Filip i Jakov remains part of a vibrant Croatian equestrian environment as the 2025 Balkan Endurance Riding Championship concluded last October in Barban, Istria. The competition, organized by the Croatian Equestrian Federation and Istria Equestrian Club under the aegis of the European Equestrian Federation, drew 49 riders from six nations across a challenging 107‑kilometer endurance course through coastal and forest terrain in Istria (konjicki-savez.hr). Although no club‑specific equestrian news emerged, the intensity and prestige of this regional championship contribute to the broader equestrian narrative in Croatia, offering context and relevance to VK Gusar Sv. Filip i Jakov’s local sporting landscape.
