Athletes Unlimited Softball League Includes Sulphur, LA Within Regional Circuit
The club Prime Baseball Training serves the Southeast Texas region amid renewed regional interest in softball development, particularly with Sulphur, Louisiana—just over 50 miles east of Beaumont—being designated as one of the host locations for the inaugural Athletes Unlimited Softball League in 2025. Major League Baseball, under GM Kim Ng’s leadership, is investing over 20% in the new league, which features four barnstorming teams and will include Sulphur in its initial schedule alongside cities such as Tuscaloosa and Round Rock (beaumontenterprise.com).
