Barnum High School Football Players Join UMD Football Roster
Barnum High School Football remains in the spotlight as senior standout Julian Beckstrand, who led the Bombers to their first state tournament appearance since 2012 and earned Pine Journal All‑Area Football Player of the Year honors, has accepted a preferred walk‑on position with the University of Minnesota Duluth football program. The club’s season showcased increased team cohesion and standout performances from Beckstrand, contributing to a breakthrough year. Barnum High School Football continues to benefit from the momentum generated during that campaign, as a key player transitions to collegiate play and sets an example for future team members.
