Baseball U PA anchors NEPA travel scene with year‑round training and teams from 7U to 18U
Baseball U PA continues to be a fixture in the Scranton/Pocono corridor, fielding travel teams across the youth spectrum from 7U through 18U and operating on a year‑round calendar to keep players sharp [1][3][4]. The program sits within the broader Baseball U network and maintains a strong Pocono presence alongside its Scranton roots [1][3].Training runs indoors through the off‑season and focuses on the essentials — hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, speed and agility, plus game IQ — to prepare players for spring, summer and fall schedules that include regional and national‑level events [3][4]. Development is the centerpiece, with an emphasis on helping athletes progress and navigate the college path [1][3][4].The local chapter traces its origins to 2005, when it launched as Scranton Miners Baseball before evolving into today’s Baseball U PA footprint in NEPA [1][4]. Competitive entries appear across established travel circuits, underscoring the program’s regular presence on the tournament calendar [5].
