Beimel takes the reins in Olean; White honored after 28–14 run and shifts to advisory role
Olean’s 2022 surge under Andrew White set a high bar: a 28–14 regular season, the top seed in the West, a Western Division playoff crown, and a berth in the NYCBL Championship Series—recognition that earned White a league “Rising Coach” nod [2].With White unable to return to the post, the Oilers named Michael Beimel head coach on March 23, 2023. A St. Marys (PA) product and former Olean infielder from the 2018–19 seasons, Beimel arrived with a decorated St. John Fisher resume, while White remained connected to the club in an advisory capacity [1].
