BlueClaws to Become Jersey Tomatoes for Agriculture Night
The Jersey Shore BlueClaws will adopt the alternate identity of the “Jersey Tomatoes” for a special promotional night on Thursday, August 6, in partnership with Jersey Fresh to highlight New Jersey’s agricultural industry. The team will don red jerseys emblazoned with “Jersey Tomatoes” and matching green caps featuring a tomato-themed logo, offering a fresh visual nod to the state’s produce heritage. BlueClaws General Manager Bob McLane and New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Ed Wengryn endorsed the initiative, emphasizing the connection between the team, its fans, and the Garden State’s farming community. Tickets and merchandise for Jersey Tomatoes Night are currently available.
