CC Phillies set May 10 tryout, outline Spring/Summer slate with practices, tournaments and fees
The Central Coast Phillies have scheduled a Summer tryout for Saturday, May 10, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Phillies Warehouse, 731 Paso Robles St, Unit C, for players in the 12U–14U range [1].The Spring/Summer program runs roughly January 22 through July 31, pairing two practices per week—one on-field and one at the warehouse—with about six local tournaments, two travel events (including a trip to Arizona), and around eight local doubleheaders. Tournament rosters are kept tight, with the club stating it will not bring more than 12 players to events [2].An example cost outline lists roughly $2,300 covering 25 weeks of training and local competition, with additional fees for travel tournaments. A $500 deposit secures a roster spot, with the remaining balance split into monthly payments of $300 from February through July; payments are accepted via @CCPhillies Venmo, cash, or check (payable to ES Baseball) [2][1]. The club also notes age-based monthly fee ranges and supports players with organization and team fundraisers such as a golf tournament and warehouse cornhole/BBQ/raffle [1][2].
