Chicago Cubs Scout Team anchors Calabasas pipeline with UpperClass roster, Perfect Game slate
Rooted in Calabasas, the Cubs Scout Team operates out of the Parkway Calabasas corridor and serves the local youth baseball scene as a dedicated scout program. Listings place the club in Calabasas, reinforcing its foothold in the West Valley baseball corridor [5][8].The program publishes an UpperClass roster that features player names, high schools, positions and grad years—useful detail for evaluators tracking SoCal talent [2]. The club’s site presents the outfit as a Southern California scout team, a familiar stop for regional prospects aiming for college looks [1].On the travel circuit, the Cubs Scout Team regularly enters Perfect Game events, fielding age-group squads (including 17U) across multiple seasons, with team profiles and event histories archived on PG’s platform [3][4].For families and recruiters, staff and contact information is posted on the team’s LeagueLineup pages, streamlining communication around tryouts and scheduling [6]. Day to day, the program’s X account carries roster notes and recruiting updates, keeping followers current on movement across the group [7].
