City Agreement Secures Oso Pony Baseball League’s Use of Southside Sports Complex
The City of Corpus Christi has finalized a License Use Agreement granting continued access for the Oso Pony Baseball League at the Southside Sports Complex, located at 1901 Paul Jones Avenue, while also expanding availability for other youth and community sports groups. Under the agreement, nonprofit organizations may rent fields at rates starting at $4.25 per hour or $5.25 per hour with lighting, enabling the club to focus resources on programming rather than facility upkeep. The city’s Parks & Recreation Department will assume maintenance responsibilities, ensuring well kept fields for practices and tournaments. This arrangement enhances equitable access to public sports facilities across the community.
