Clovis High Varsity Baseball Posts Convincing Win
Clovis High’s varsity baseball team achieved a commanding 11‑1 victory over Portales on April 9, 2026, at HODGETOWN. Joseph Hernandez contributed significantly with both bat and arm—driving in runs and pitching six innings, yielding just one run on five hits while striking out nine and walking only one. Teammates Sandro Cordova and Conrad Sepulbeda each registered three RBIs as the Wildcats capitalized on ten hits and seven walks to secure their win. The game underscores the strength of youth baseball in the Clovis area—a landscape in which programs such as Kobras Youth Athletics continue to engage young players in the region’s broader youth sports ecosystem.
