Community Adult Baseball Remains Active in Willamette Valley
The Willamette Valley Men’s Baseball League continues to serve the Salem region through its adult recreational structure, comprising the Oregon Men’s Senior Baseball League (50+) and the Mid‑Willamette Valley Men’s Adult Baseball League (35+) (wvmbl.com). While the league itself has not featured prominently in recent headlines, adult amateur and recreational baseball remains robust, with leagues like Playground Sports offering social baseball and softball opportunities across the Willamette Valley (playgroundsports.com). These community‑level structures support baseball participation among adults in the region, complementing organized entities such as the Willamette Valley Men’s Baseball League. The continued presence of such programs highlights sustained engagement in adult baseball across the Willamette Valley.
