Daytona Tortugas Anticipate Season Opening Amid Ballpark Upgrades
The Daytona Tortugas are preparing to open their 2026 season at Jackie Robinson Ballpark on April 2 against the Jupiter Hammerheads, with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. ET and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. to commemorate the completion of extensive renovations at the venue. The upgrades include a multi-level player development facility, enhanced dugouts, team store, club seating, indoor batting cages, a multipurpose room, upgraded restrooms, and improved infrastructure and parking. Throughout the early season, the club will manage capacity as construction continues along the riverwalk and third-base concourse, with all season tickets and pre-booked packages honored. The Tortugas also play at a historic ballpark now designated a National Commemorative Site.
