Delta Little League Prepares for Upcoming Season After Repeat County Baseball Success
Delta Little League is entering the new spring season bolstered by the local success of youth players previously competing in Delta’s broader baseball programs. In May 2025, Delta’s high‑school age team secured a consecutive Delaware County Tournament championship with a 10‑0 shutout of Yorktown, highlighted by senior pitcher Zane Cline’s dominant performance (10 strikeouts over 5⅔ shutout innings) (sports.yahoo.com). The club, which serves the Muncie‑area youth from Royerton and surrounding areas, anticipates robust participation this spring, with registration typically opening early in the year and league play scheduled to begin in mid‑April (deltalittleleague.net). This momentum is expected to carry through into Delta Little League’s regular season and All‑Star selection process.
