East Greenbush–Castleton youth baseball moves to Cal Ripken Baseball for 2026
The East Greenbush–Castleton Youth Baseball League confirmed it will shift to the Cal Ripken Baseball division for the 2026 season, marking a new affiliation for the town’s youth baseball program [1].Cal Ripken Baseball operates under the Babe Ruth League umbrella, providing age-based divisions and a development-focused framework for community programs across the country [2]. The move places EGCYBL within that national structure while keeping the emphasis on local, community play [1][2].Families can follow league updates and season details through EGCYBL’s website as preparations proceed for the switch to Cal Ripken Baseball [1].
