El Dorado Softball Highlighted as Launch Academy Prepares for Season
Launch Academy athletes are preparing for the upcoming softball season in El Dorado, benefiting from regional developments in the sport. Nearby, El Dorado High School extended its home winning streak to five with a commanding 12‑2 victory over Franklin, led by a strong pitching performance and explosive offensive output (maxpreps.com). In the wider region, youth softball and baseball fields at El Dorado Regional Park are nearing completion of their modernization project, including upgraded fields, dugouts and upcoming installation of bleachers and shade structures this spring (longbeach.gov). These improvements are anticipated to offer enhanced facilities for Launch Academy and other local programs.
