Frankston Stadium Redevelopment to Include Dedicated Gymnastics Hall for Bayside Gymnastics Club
Bayside Gymnastics Club is set to benefit from the redevelopment of the Frankston Stadium in Seaford, with construction now underway on the region’s largest indoor sports facility. The club will gain a permanent, purpose-built gymnastics hall within the new stadium, featuring a foam pit, tumble track, and trampoline pit to support its recreational, semi‑competitive and competitive programs. The upgrade responds to the club’s long‑standing need for improved facilities beyond its current location at Monterey Secondary College. Completion of the project is anticipated by mid‑2027, offering enhanced capacity to accommodate growing participation in gymnastics across Frankston. The club’s relocation aligns with broader efforts to expand access to indoor sports in the region.
