Genesee Rapids open 2026 player search, Houghton turf field remains NYCBL home
Genesee Rapids have opened their 2026 player search and set plans for another summer in the New York Collegiate Baseball League, keeping Houghton University’s all‑turf diamond as home. [1][2]The organization operates as a faith‑based program and typically tackles a roughly 40‑plus game slate through the summer window. [6][5]Home dates are staged at Houghton University’s baseball field within the Kerr‑Pegula Athletic Complex, a setup that has anchored the club’s operations in Houghton. [2][5]The team’s 2026 page is posted on the NYCBL stats site for the upcoming campaign, with roster and game tracking tied to league play. [3]The Rapids were first announced in 2013 with plans to debut the following summer, establishing a steady NYCBL presence in Houghton ever since. [4]
