Harris County Youth Football and Cheer run through Recreation Department
Harris County’s youth football and cheer activity is housed under the county Recreation Department’s athletics umbrella, providing a central home for program details and contacts [1][5].Oversight is organized through the county’s youth sports boards and community associations, which coordinate operations and support across the football and cheer offerings [2][3].The program lists youth tackle football, co-ed flag football, and cheerleading among its offerings, with season information and sport-specific guidance available on the Football & Cheerleading page [4].Registration, schedules, and team communications are managed on the Harris County Youth Football league portal, where families can complete sign-ups and access league updates [6]. Day-to-day notices, photos, and community reminders are also posted on the program’s official Facebook page [7].
