Hooks Embrace ‘Blue Ghosts’ Identity During Memorial Weekend at Whataburger Field
The Corpus Christi Hooks Baseball Club is spotlighting its connection to local heritage this Memorial Day weekend by transforming into the “Blue Ghosts” for games held May 22–24, 2026 at Whataburger Field. The special identity, inspired by the USS Lexington, features a refreshed logo complete with crossed anchors, aircraft details, and a monochromatic blue‑gray palette ﹙cite﹂turn0search0﹂. Concurrently, the team will host a public batting practice on the flight deck of the USS Lexington Museum on Saturday, May 23 at 11:00 AM, giving fans a unique opportunity to engage with the team in a historic venue ﹙cite﹂turn0search9﹂.
