KC Barnstormers’ local pipeline shows results: 17 college commits, six drafted, one MLB alum
A fixture in the Kansas City youth scene, the KC Barnstormers operate out of Johnson County, with an Olathe presence at 15075 W 116th St and a website listed as barnstormersbaseball.com [2]. Perfect Game profiles the organization with a Lenexa hometown designation, underscoring the club’s long-standing footprint on the Kansas side of the metro [1].The program’s development track record stands out: 17 college commitments, six players drafted, and one alumnus making a big‑league debut — a solid return for a regional outfit that’s been churning out prospects for decades [1]. The Barnstormers also appear on USSSA’s rolls, reflecting participation and recognition within that youth competition framework [3].Leadership ties run deep. Coach Karl C. is credited with owning and operating Barnstormers Baseball since 1996, a tenure echoed in testimonials that reference the KC Barnstormers by name, reinforcing the program’s continuity and identity within the local baseball community [4].Between their Johnson County home base and metro‑wide reach, the Barnstormers remain part of the fabric of Kansas City youth baseball, offering a pathway that has already produced college players, draft picks, and a trip to The Show [1][2][3][4].
