Lalwani’s 108 in vain as R.A. Podar fall to Rizvi; 7-wicket win steadies inter-college run
R.A. Podar’s opener Bhupen Lalwani stroked a superb 108, yet Rizvi College reeled in the target to hand Podar a five‑wicket defeat in the Mumbai University inter‑college competition [1].Podar quickly found a response in the Mumbai City Zone‑1 inter‑collegiate bracket, where the side is listed with a seven‑wicket victory to keep the campaign moving in the city circuit [2].The contrasting results underline Podar’s top‑order promise, with Lalwani setting the tone, while the group looks to tighten up in the field through the university schedule [1][2].
