Macon Bacon take on Florence Flamingos (June 8) and Lexington County Blowfish (June 10)
Macon lined up against the Florence Flamingos on June 8, 2023, then met the Lexington County Blowfish on June 10 in the opening stretch of the summer campaign [2][3].In the build-up to the Florence matchup, a pregame feature spotlighted pieces of the 2023 roster — including outfielder Matthew Lee — as the club geared up for the early-June test [1]. Those two dates anchored the first full week of June for the Bacon, setting the tone for the summer run [2][3].
