Manchester City Expands Youth Development Partnership in Charlotte
Manchester City has expanded its global development network through a new collaboration with Puma King Club Charlotte Soccer Academy, embedding its coaching methodology into the North Carolina-based academy. Two full-time City coaches will relocate to Charlotte to work directly with academy staff and players, focusing on the Foundation Phase programme for U10 to U12 age groups. The initiative aims to strengthen technical foundations, enhance decision-making and foster long-term talent development in the region. While not directly involving Charlotte United Football Club, the move represents broader growth in Charlotte’s youth soccer landscape and may benefit local clubs indirectly.
