Fort Smith Marshals Baseball

Fort Smith is handing the reins to a familiar face: hitting coach Buddy Mercado has been promoted to manager for the 2025 Mid-America League campaign [3].

In their 2024 debut, the Marshals played home dates at Crowder Field on the UAFS campus [1] and closed the season at 28–38 in a roughly 68-game slate [5]. The league lists the Marshals as a member club with Fort Smith as home and Crowder Field as the venue [1]. The nickname “Marshals” came from a fan vote, tying the look and colors to the city’s U.S. Marshals heritage [7].
