McDermott Athletic Center in Rio Rancho: batting cages, private lessons, intro-to-club baseball
Set on Loma Colorado, the McDermott Athletic Center at 801 Loma Colorado Dr NE keeps bats hot year‑round with indoor batting cages and pitching machines, operating on posted weekday and weekend hours for local players and teams. [1][4]The youth pathway features the ABA Hooligans “Introduction to Club Baseball,” an eight‑week Sunday program for 6U–9U that blends fundamentals with situational scrimmages to ease families into the club scene. [3]For one‑on‑one work, players can book private lessons with instructors including Zach, Jack, Tyler, Angel, and Gabi, with scheduling handled through the MAC site. [2][1]Details on registration, lesson booking, and cage availability are listed on the facility pages. [1][2][3]
