Meridian’s 10‑and‑under group pieced together a postseason surge, advancing from Idaho play to regionals in Longview, Washington, and into the Cal Ripken World Series field [1][2]. The team started 2–14 before catching fire and climbing into World Series play [3].

Coaches and families emphasized fundamentals and life lessons throughout the push while organizing fundraisers, including online campaigns, to cover travel and tournament costs [1][3]. Meridian’s youth scene had multiple teams on national stages that summer, underscoring the city’s growing pipeline [4].
