New Indoor Multi‑Sports Facility Opens in Godfrey with Baseball and Softball Support
The NexGen Fieldhouse, located in Godfrey, Illinois, opened to the public with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony on March 6, 2026, offering year‑round indoor training for baseball, softball and other sports. The facility features six batting cages and open turf suited for varied athletic activities, including softball and baseball (thetelegraph.com). The Nextgen baseball all stars community may find relevance in this development as the new center provides expanded access to indoor training resources that could support skill development during off‑season periods.
