Opening Night 2025 packs MacFarlane Park as West Tampa Little League kicks off spring
The West Tampa community turned out at MacFarlane Park, 2000 N Jamaica St., for Opening Night 2025, a full-park kickoff that celebrated players across the league and marked the start of spring ball at the league’s longtime home [1][2]. The event drew several hundred registrants and welcomed ceremonial guests to help launch the season [2].WTLL fields baseball and softball teams across multiple age groups, including the Intermediate 50/70 division for 12–13U players, giving kids a bigger field and a bridge to the full-sized diamond [3]. The league competes under Florida District 6 in the Little League structure, lining up each spring for local play and district competition [5].Facilities continue to grow, too: a new field partnership with St. Joseph Catholic School adds space for practices and games, strengthening the footprint just a few blocks from the heart of West Tampa [4].Schedules, registration details, and contacts remain centralized on the league site, alongside updates from Opening Night and seasonal news [1][2].
