Pearland Community Welcomes New Collegiate Summer Baseball Team
Houston Bengals Baseball serves young athletes in Pearland, but the region’s baseball fever expanded recently as Pearland will host a new collegiate summer baseball team, the Pearland Cobblers. The Cobblers, part of the Cowboy Collegiate League, will begin play in June 2026 at Veterans Sports Complex, offering high‑level, wood‑bat competition featuring top collegiate talent. The launch reflects growing baseball interest in Pearland, complementing local youth development programs including those offered by Houston Bengals Baseball. The Cobblers are expected to provide increased visibility and opportunities for local spectators while fostering community engagement through themed game nights and outreach initiatives.
