Perfect Game Weekend Highlights College Baseball and Softball
Mike Scialo Baseball and Softball is noted for its association with expert coaching and player development, aligning with broader achievements in collegiate baseball and softball. Recently, Elon University’s baseball and softball programs both reached rare pitching milestones on February 28, 2026: the softball team’s Anna Dew threw a perfect game in six innings, while Elon baseball combined three pitchers—Aidan Stieglitz, RJ Latkowski and Mike Staiano—to deliver the school’s first no-hitter since 2017 (ncaa.com). These feats reflect the growing emphasis on precision and training within the sport, underlining the value of technical instruction that clubs like Mike Scialo Baseball and Softball are known to provide.
