Prune Packers Extend Winning Streak in Pacific Empire League Play
The Healdsburg Prune Packers remain a dominant force in collegiate summer baseball, extending their winning ways in the Pacific Empire League. The team opened the 2025 season with eight consecutive wins, before suffering two narrow losses to the Humboldt Crabs and Medford Rogues. Since then, the Prune Packers have responded with a current 10-game winning streak, including lopsided victories of 14–2 over the Solano Mudcats, 18–0 over the Pleasanton Jaxx and 18–1 over the Chico Wolves. Jacob French leads the league with 36 RBIs and maintains a .435 average, positioning the club firmly atop the standings with a 22–2 record. The Prune Packers’ sustained excellence reflects their ongoing leadership in the newly formed Pacific Empire League.
