Red Bulls and Harrison Join Forces to Revitalize Historic Soccer Courts
Harrison Futbol Club is referenced in the broader context of Harrison’s rich soccer heritage as local officials and the New York Red Bulls unveiled a refurbished Harrison Soccer Courts on April 21. The project, funded through state grants and City support, introduced a new FieldTurf surface, upgraded fencing and improved drainage. Officials including Mayor Raymond J. McDonough, Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise and Red Bulls representatives Erik Stover and Carlos Mendes attended the ribbon‑cutting ceremony. The renovation underscores the area’s enduring soccer culture that the Harrison Futbol Club helps perpetuate.
