Sedalia Post 642 Travelers eliminated at AAA State after Jefferson City shutout
The Travelers couldn’t claw through the bracket at the Missouri American Legion AAA State Tournament, dropping their opener to Ste. Genevieve after twice narrowing the gap to a single run but never finding the equalizer [1]. Jefferson City Post 5 then closed the door with a 3–0 shutout to end Sedalia’s state bid [2].Sedalia showed fight in the opener, hanging around late before Ste. Genevieve iced it in the final frames [1]. A day later, Post 5’s pitching kept the bats quiet, sending the Travelers home from the tournament [2].
