Sterlington Little League: Regional Softball Success Mirrors High School Triumphs
Sterlington Little League continues to foster a strong softball tradition in the Monroe area, reflecting the success seen at the high school level. The Sterlington High School softball program recently secured the LHSAA Division III nonselect state championship with a narrow 5‑4 victory over Kaplan (knoe.com). This mirrors the competitive spirit within youth baseball and softball at Sterlington, where the Sterlington Sports Complex serves as a premier venue for regional tournaments (monroe-westmonroe.org). Such developments underscore a thriving local infrastructure and tradition that support the growth and achievement of young athletes in Sterlington Little League.
