Throwback: BBU Tigers’ Nick Callahan delivers in Firecracker and Spinners tourney moments
In the 2014 Firecracker Tournament, Nick Callahan came up clutch for the BBU Tigers. He ripped a run-scoring double in Game 3 and later crossed the plate as the Tigers edged Central Mass 3–2 [1]. In Game 2, he capped a 9–3 victory with the final out on a clean catch in the outfield [2].Callahan also set the tone in a Spinners Tournament opener, lacing a line-drive single before swiping second and third and coming around to score—speed and pressure that fit the Tigers’ summer style [3].
