Union City Soccer Festival set for June 13 at Midtown Athletic Complex
Union City set a community Soccer Festival for Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Midtown Athletic Complex at José Martí STEM Academy, opening at 11:00 a.m. and running through the day [1]. The slate includes local matchups featuring Cedar Stars Academy alongside Union City’s players, building a full day around the ball [1][2].It’s designed as a family‑first day: live DJ, free kids’ rides, complimentary popcorn and cotton candy, plus a range of food vendors around the grounds [1][2]. Event logistics were laid out for fans, including parking at the 23rd Street Municipal Deck to keep lines moving near Summit Avenue [1]. City leaders and community partners joined in to back the festival and broaden the invite across the neighborhood’s soccer families [1][2].
