BÅTSPORTKLUBBEN SØR finds its community aligned with a growing national trend as Norway’s motorsport landscape evolves. The Norwegian Automobilesport Federation recently expanded its “Arrive & Drive” electric karting initiative—originally piloted in 2025—to include older youths up to 16 years and introduce a new “pro” level for experienced juniors. The programme, supported by FIA’s Motor Sport Funding Programme, promotes sustainable, grassroots participation across tracks including Varna, Rudskogen and Trøgstad.
