Bishopthorpe CC

We at Bishopthorpe CC want to share an update with our loyal supporters. As reported by Bishopthorpe Parish Council, the club has signed up for the 2024 league but faces a critical shortage—around ten to twelve players less than needed to field a reliable weekly team. Financially, we’re in urgent need: our roller has broken, and we require approximately £3,000 this season to lease equipment and manage incidentals. The club has also requested that the Parish Council waive our £650 annual precept this April to help ease the burden. To stay strong on the field and active in the York Vale League, we deeply appreciate any support. Together, we’ll rise above these challenges.
