PričaInternational Judo Stage Brings Global Athletes to Cahors
Judo Club Cahors (ID 3) is highlighted within a wider context of martial arts activity in the region after hosting a major international pre‑season judo stage in August 2025. The event, organized by the Institut du Judo in Cahors, welcomed around 90 judokas from across France, Chile, and Peru for intensive, technique‑focused training under the leadership of national technical director Karine Dyot and other senior instructors. The week‑long stage featured high‑level coaching and participation by Olympic champion Thierry Rey, and included sessions tailored to paralympic athletes under coach Christophe Gagliano. The initiative reflects growing recognition of Cahors as a hub for elite judo development. The club, known locally as Judo Club Cadurcien, continues to benefit from such high‑profile events that reinforce its regional standing.
