PričaMatlock Motor Club Opens 2026 Season with Dansport Historic Rally
Matlock Motor Club Ltd has launched the 2026 competition year by hosting the fifth edition of the Dansport Historic Rally, which served as the opening round of the HRCR Clubmans Championship. Competitors gathered on 21–22 February for a compact yet challenging route based in North Derbyshire, featuring approximately 175 miles of navigational tests departing from the Casa Hotel in Chesterfield and concluding at the Peak Edge Hotel (matlockmotorclub.co.uk). Under the guidance of new Clerk of the Course Kelvin Phipps, the event retained its traditional “Short & Sharp” Saturday evening session followed by a full day of sport on Sunday (hrcr.co.uk). Matlock Motor Club Ltd continues to affirm its active role in regional motorsport through such historic rally events.
