Saddle Rock GC Senior Golf Club

Saddle Rock GC Senior Golf Club members and players at Saddle Rock Golf Course in Aurora are currently adhering to a temporary walking‑only policy as part of a broader turf protection effort undertaken by Aurora Golf. The restriction, effective as of January 12, 2026, applies to all Aurora municipal courses including Saddle Rock; golf carts are prohibited until at least April 4, 2026, due to extremely dry conditions that threaten turf health. The decision aims to preserve playing surfaces amid unusually arid weather, with city staff monitoring course conditions daily to determine whether cart access can be safely reinstated earlier or must be extended. Saddle Rock GC Senior Golf Club members will be informed promptly of any updates. The reported measure underscores the city’s proactive management of its public golf facilities.
