PričaSouth Carolina Ravens took the turf in 2016 indoor exhibition vs Myrtle Beach Freedom
In 2016, the South Carolina Ravens faced the Myrtle Beach Freedom in an indoor exhibition, marking a rare pro/semipro arena outing for a Charleston-based side. [1]The Freedom were a Myrtle Beach–based indoor franchise on the Grand Strand, active in the region during the mid‑2010s. [2]The matchup places the Ravens within the Southeast’s indoor scene of that period, alongside franchises such as the Georgia Firebirds out of Georgia. [1][3]For local supporters cataloging Charleston gridiron ventures, the 2016 exhibition remains a clear marker in the club’s timeline. [1]
